My son asked me today if I thought he could be famous someday. I told him he could do anything he wants to do. “Dream big, worry small, right mom?” and then he followed it up with, “Dream as big as the world, and worry as small as an atom.”
“Wow where did you hear that?” I asked.
“I just now made that up myself.” He replied.
Kids speak the truth. They are so close to our true selves. They are easily pleased and kind and loving to most people, even strangers. What we say to them means the whole world, literally. What we do means even more.
Love your kids. Give them everything they need to face the world head on. Teach them to believe in themselves no matter how dark the world gets.
