I self-published my dad’s manuscript telling his story of survival during the Korean War.  He died unexpectedly just a few weeks after completing the manuscript.  When I visited him for Christmas 1996, he showed it to me (still incomplete) and asked me to edit it for him.  We saw each other for the last time in May 1997, his final edit was in June, and he died on July 4, 1997.  It took years for me to obtain the manuscript, edit it, and get it self-published for him, but I’m happy to see his project finally brought to fruition.

All proceeds from the sale of this book go to my brother’s foundation, Children of Fallen Patriots, providing college funding for kids who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
